The story behind our people
Kathleen De Grove
34 - Third Party Logistics Manager - ZaventemPepsiCo works really hard to achieve a work-life balance. They keep in mind your personal agenda.

We work together with external logistics companies to deliver our products to the end customer. New products and projects are something I can really get my teeth into. PepsiCo is a dynamic organization that changes and adapts quickly, standing still and routine have no place here. With such a broad range of products, it couldn't be any other way. For instance, with snacks and drinks, every product demands a different approach. And every challenge gives me a kick. We also have an approach to sustainability: for example, night distribution is more ecological and much more efficient. That shows being future-minded, both for the company and the people.
PepsiCo works really hard to achieve a work-life balance. They keep in mind your personal agenda. As I have two children, I work 90%. On Wednesday afternoons, I spend my time with them and in the morning I work from home. In my previous job in logistics, that would never have been possible. We also have a special initiative called: “One simple thing”: a discussion between you and your boss – what can you and PepsiCo do to improve your work-life balance?
There are also many opportunities to build your career path. A lot of people move internally and switch functions, like from sales to marketing. This is the ideal way to further develop. Furthermore, we are given the independence and responsibility to realize our own ideas. Here, nobody leads you by the hand. At PepsiCo there is a young and enthusiastic spirit. People are motivated and proud to work for the company.
